Ninty-two years and counting: the tradition and passion for the family business is something that can’t be overlooked at any time, and passion for auto repair runs in the Daniels family.
For the past ninety two years, a member of the Daniels family has been hands-on repairing vehicles. Larry, the current generation of the Daniels family and namesake of Larry Daniels Auto Center, has been carrying on the family tradition with his own business since 1978. It was in 1927, however, when Larry’s grandfather, Alfred Shultz, started his auto business in Fostoria, OH outside of Toledo. Larry’s father, Bert Daniels, mastered his craft under Shultz and opened his own garage in 1947, continuing the work for 30 years in Cincinnati and Milford, OH.
Larry became a master craftsman by working with his father, and showed a particular passion for Mercedes Benz. His repair shop opened in Cincinnati on Columbia Parkway and Stanley and specialized in Mercedes and BMW repair. A trip to Stuttgart and Munich to the Mercedes Benz and BMW flagship plants, respectively, in 1983 furthered Daniels’ commitment to integrity-driven repairs. In 1985 Larry bought his current facility, a retired AMC dealership; moved, and expanded his services to include other European and Asian automobiles.
Thirty-four years since opening in 1978, the Daniels passion is still committed to providing world class service with the highest integrity.
Ninety-two years and counting…
